Frequently asked questions

What should I expect for my first class?

For your first class, arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled and meet your instructor. Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring some water. If you booked a Reformer Pilates class, you'll perform the whole class on your preferred Reformer and Stability Chair for the day. If you booked a Hot Pilates or Hot Yoga class, please bring your Mat. We have extra water for you available at the studio and mats in case you need one.

Do I need previous experience in Pilates or Yoga to Join?

Not at all! Our classes are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our instructors provide modifications to suit your experience and comfort level.

What's the difference between Reformer and Hot Pilates?

Hot Pilates is pilates performed on a mat in our infrared heated room. This class will tone, sculpt and strengthen your muscles with body-weight exercises and the use of props like the Pilates ball, bands, magic circle, ankle weights and dumbbells. You'll have an hour long workout paired with upbeat music that will make you feel energized and sweat it all out.

Reformer Pilates is performed on the reformer machine, both Mat and Reformer Pilates where classically created by Joseph Pilates. The Reformer's versatility enables you to target multiple muscle groups simultaneously, providing a comprehensive full-body workout. The sliding carriage and adjustable springs allow for controlled movements that engage your core, arms, legs, glutes, and more, resulting in improved muscle strength, tone, and definition.

How do I sign up for classes?

You can easily reserve your spot through our website or the Mindbody app. Just create an account, choose your class, and you’re all set!

Do I need to be flexible to do Pilates?

No, you do not need to be flexible to practice Pilates. Pilates emphasizes controlled, fluid movements that promote flexibility and strength. By elongating the muscles and focusing on proper alignment, you can increase joint mobility, improve posture, and develop long, lean muscles.
